Active Schools

The Environmental Team are continually assisting and getting involved in the active schools programmes across the East End of Glasgow.

The team have been visiting schools and planning and lead workshops with all the pupils to engage them in their school environment. Activities include bug hunts, scavenger hunts, recycle relays, seed planting and many more fun hands on games. To tie in with the actives schools programme all the activities provided link in with promoting an active lifestyle and the workshops are designed to be as active as possible. The pupils enjoy their time in the playground with the team and we are always visiting schools to raise awareness of the environment.
