Employment Links

This project is committed to sourcing jobs for the residents of Greater Easterhouse and providing suitable employees for locators and current businesses within the area. The Employment Links will offer an integrated approach to employment, serving new investors, enhancing employment opportunities and providing employees with a professional service for all employment issues.

The employment links project aims to:

• Establish an employment strategy for locators and local employers.
• Implement a recruitment network of organisations working towards a common goal for the benefit of employment seeking Greater Easterhouse residents.
• Positively promote ‘job ready’ individuals from Greater Easterhouse to vacancies in local businesses and the Glasgow travel to work area.
• Promote individuals in relation to recruitment who participate on GEDC and other organisation’s Employment Development projects.
